The ranger here should be given accolades for how friendly and fun and knowledgeable she is! Was very pleased we stopped in to say hi.

Great place to hike or visit. I hike at this location nearly every weekend, and it's wonderful. I consider the trails to be moderate, they are well-maintained and I always feel safe here when hiking alone. The rangers at the lodge are professional, friendly and helpful., the little gift shop is nice, and the bathrooms are clean. Which leads me to why I took one significant star off - many of us hike earlier in the day, and everyone who I have met who is there before 9 has a valid complaint of no bathrooms. Other places I hike have unlocked bathrooms available anytime or at least a porta potty. Big miss for this location and visitors need to know this, but otherwise everything is great here. Please provide a restroom option for pre-9:00 visitors.
