  Having doula support with Melissa and Stephanie was an amazing experience for me. When I first met with them I learned so much and I loved their warm and engaging personalities. One of the things they mentioned is that they were going to be my husband and my new best friends, and they truly were! They were there for any questions we had during pregnancy, they were there when I switched my birth plan from a hospital birth to a home birth at 39 weeks pregnant (due to covid). Melissa knew when to come over to my house when I was in labor, despite me thinking I had it under control. I had an absolutely amazing birth experience, I felt in control, supported, and empowered throughout. After my birth, they stayed in touch and helped me with all my post partum needs. My sweet little bean is almost 4 months old and we are still in touch. Hiring a doula is the best thing you can do for yourself and Melissa and Stephanie are true experts and friends!

  Stefanie and Melissa were one of the most invaluable resources during my pregnancy, labor/delivery, and postpartum. They offer an abundance of knowledge, experience, and resources for any bump in the road. Stefanie came to support us during my birth in the middle of Covid-19 (shout out to Wellstar North Fulton for deeming doulas as a part of the birth team!). My husband is an excellent supporter. He is serving and loving in nature, but we were beyond grateful for Stefanie's support because she had something my husband definitely didn't. My husband knows me, but Stefanie KNOWS BIRTH. I needed a small amount of Pitocin to get contractions to pick up and I do not think I would have had the non-medicated birth that I wanted without Stefanie's hip squeezes and tens unit. Through 4 hours of pushing, Stefanie was right there with me. I was holding (squeezing) her with one arm and my husband with the other. I ended up with some pretty bad tearing, but Stefanie was right by my side as they discussed surgery/options and she helped me get baby latched before I went back to be repaired. Unfortunately, because of Covid she was kicked out shortly after delivery but that didn't end their support. They were always checking in to offer support practically and emotionally. Going through birth, whether it is your first or fifth is a big, emotional time. Having the peace that you have someone in your corner who, if she doesn't know, knows someone is incredibly relieving. You will NOT regret hiring The Atlanta Doulas.

  WE LOVE THESE DOULAS! They are kind and compassionate, understanding and communicative, responsive and knowledgeable. They are so great at answering questions, quelling fears, and addressing concerns. We had a calm, beautiful labor and delivery, made sweeter by their patience and steadfast presence - holding space for mama and baby to work together birthing. Highly recommend to anyone looking for wholeness and wellness in their birthing experience - regardless of type of delivery.

  We took a long time to decide whether or not to have a doula and I believe it is the single best decision we made regarding this birth experience- our first child. Stefanie and Melissa were so communicative and reassuring in the weeks leading up to the birth-- very patient with all my constant questions. Working with a team gave me peace of mind that no matter what, someone would be there for us! On the day of the birth, Melissa was on call and she was incredible. She helped work with me through induced labor and guided me throughout the entire experience. She was patient and kind and understanding of the choices I made. She has kept in touch since and we are so grateful for her and Stefanie!

  I had the most wonderful experience with the Atlanta Doulas. Throughout the pregnancy they were always in touch with us. No question was stupid and if I went a week without anything to ask, they’d always reach out and see how things were going. During the actual labour and delivery, Melissa was there and beyond beyond incredible. I truly don’t feel like I could have done it without her. She was sweet, present, helpful and just knew what to do. I’m so grateful that I got two awesome friends through this journey ♥️♥️
