Fabulous Lobster on the River! Nothing Better! The server Justin was spectacular! The Crab Cakes are mouthwatering! I enjoyed another year Celebrating? my daughter Imani's Birthday!
This was the first but definitely will not be the last visit. Our family enjoyed the food, ambience and above all, the service. Our servers explained things we weren't familiar with and made suggestions that were actually sumptuous. Our overall meal was delectable and as you can see we hung out by the river after dinner and took lots of photos. I would recommend for both private dining and events.
Brunch at Ray's On the River was great. We dined outside opting for something different, it was a nice breezy day so why not. Our table was under a giant umbrella and they had a giant fan. We really didn't need the fan because it was nice and breezy that day. The greeters we're nice and cordial. We had reservations and they seated exactly at our reserved time. Our server, Dylan, was the best. He knew everything about the food and answered all of our questions, he also recommend a few of his favorites. Dylan was very personable and funny.
For food, we started off with calamari. It was fresh, crispy and seasoned perfectly. The calamari that sits on the bottom was not greasy or soggy. It was just as crispy as the ones on top. It came with a marinara sauce and a cream based sauce. There was also breaded peppers in the calamari. We ate every crumb. For entres I had Lobster & Brie Omelette, and my wife had Shrimp & Grits. The Omelette was covered with lobster tail, the lobster was cooked to perfection. The eggs were perfectly seasoned and had enough butter to counter the sweetness of the lobster. The sauce added a nice flavor to the dish as well. Even though the grits had jalapeno in it, it was not spicy at all, they were great. I did not taste my wife's dish, but she enjoyed it a lot, she kept giving complements on her dish.
While we were enjoying the view of the Chattahoochee River and watching the people on the rafts float by, and enjoying the nice outdoor atmosphere, and enjoying each other's company while sipping on lemonade, we lost track of time. We were there for two and a half hours (not on purpose). Great food, fun service, and nice atmosphere. We will go back.
