Her love for Scuba is contagious, as is her comfort in the water. Stormy's teaching style is intuitive and individual. We felt so safe and supported though our experience. It was important to me to learn skills slowly and practice, practice, practice! Stormy encouraged me to keep working on skills I found more difficult or scary in a way that was individual and effective. She does not intimidate or bark orders but works with students. With Stormy you can learn from your mistakes instead of feeling shamed or overwhelmed. She is a truly gifted teacher and the world of SCUBA is lucky she is part of it. I would absolutely choose to take classes from Stormy again and recommend her to prospective students with enthusiasm!”

I love the fact Cumberland’s teachers strive to meet students where they are in their academic journey. The objective is to bring out the best in each student. However, there is emphasis for the student to try. For the first time, I have witnessed my son’s confidence and enthusiasm about school. To me, that speaks volume. Although Cumberland Academy offers many programs to foster its students, nothing exceeds the parent-teacher partnership. The true outcome occurs when all parties work together to make the student successful. We each have to keep in mind there is not a catch all for success. It will look different for each student. Also, it requires a lot of patience and work from everyone. Variations and challenges will occur as we strive to give our student the best education he or she deserves. “We switched our child to Kids r Kids Milton back in June and have seen such tremendous improvements! She went from a daycare that was not focused on academics to Kids r Kids where there is a balance of learning and fun! She is now interested in reading, letters, and writing, whereas she would cry before when we sat down at home to work on things. We love being able to check in on her throughout the day with the secure camera platform they use. We love having great daily reports as well. We get great feedback and are told different things we can do at home to progress her learning. “Incredible program. Both their Spanish immersion summer camp and their elementary school! Our daughter learned Spanish so fast and with an accent that native Spanish speakers would tell us made her sound so fluent. The English portions of elementary school, all her reading, spelling tests, etc. were fantastic. And Tabula Rasa made it easy; some schools require after-school be signed up for monthly and you run the risk of not getting in; at Tabula Rasa, we were able to sign up for the entire year with a guaranteed spot until the last day of school. And their after school includes Spanish immersion too, and we loved that French was also being taught both at camp and in the elementary school curriculum! Very pleased with the school, staff, and curriculum.”

“Our daughter attended this Goddard for about 8 months and once we got passed the two week transition phase that most 3 year olds go through, we absolutely loved it! The teachers our daughter had challenged her academically and made her feel loved and safe. She always had stories to tell about her learning and her friends. We had to leave because we moved into a new home that was too far to commute from. We would have stayed here through pre-k if we could. The director and assistant director are great with the kids as well and very responsive with communication. I’d recommend this Goddard! We’d go back in a heartbeat if we were closer.”

“I give it five stars because it's really a fun course and they are improving it. That being said it is not a country club by any means. It's a par 62 with one par 5 but it is 18 holes some are pretty challenging' The greens are fast and the course is well maintained, and the staff is friendly. It is in it's own category for sure, so I can't compare it to a normal course. No restaurant no real frills just fun golfing on a fun course at a good price!”

“Loving it. Organized, efficient, clean, well operated. Safe location. Good Buses. Great teachers so far (in 2nd grade). Teachers seem to come-n-go on maternity leave, but perhaps that's a function everywhere of their age group. In any case, the teachers all love and are attentive to their kids and treat them kindly, fairly and with loving firmness for the rules with attention to age appropriate growth. Nice playgrounds and some extracurricular activities for the kids. Active PTA supports teachers and school causes.”

“My 3 grandchildren transferred from private school to Dolvin Elementary School and their experience has been wonderful. The teachers are fantastic, the support staff is kind, knowledgeable and seem to know each child by name. It surprised me for such a large school for the office staff to know each child and their teacher without even having to look at files. My grandchildren glow when they talk about the new friends they have made and the special teachers that seem to have a heart for the children. When I asked my granddaughter if she wanted to go back to private school - she replied "No, she would miss her new friends at Dolvin". I am appreciative of the staff at Dolvin and the active parents group that have made this a first rate school in Johns Creek.”

“Just left a Sunday class at Atlanta CPR and I highly recommend them. The instructor, Steven, was knowledgeable, engaging, charismatic and effective at getting the course material across. I was there to renew both my BLS and my ACLS certifications, I wish he was my instructor from the beginning 13 years ago. Hell, I wish he was my initial paramedic instructor... classes would've been much more fun. “The Roswell Goddard School is a great environment for my kids. The teachers are compassionate, loving and good educators. My kids are excited to go to class, have made new friends and come home with new talents often. My 3 year old has a passion for reading and the school is so supportive of this with lots of classroom reading but also an open library where kids can borrow and return books as often as they like. My 1 year old is excited to see his teachers and is very comfortable exploring the classroom and the playground with them. I also like our daily summaries and pictures of the kids at school.”
