Thrive Pet Healthcare Buford

We took our 3 month old puppy there for some stomach issues she was having, and Alicia and the Dr. were the best. You could tell they have a passion and a true care about your pet and that’s exactly what we were looking for. Our pup enjoyed being there unlike other offices she been to. The overall cost is by far the best in the area and frankly a fraction of the cost of what it would be anywhere else. Awesome staff and very clean environment. 5 out of 5 any day.

Literally the greatest vet ever. The staff is literally welcomes you like they’re your friends!! Super personable and don’t overcharge like other vets!! They’ve been GREAT with my dog waffles!! He recently had to get surgery for a bite wound on his neck. They kept me updated with EVERYTHING and explained everything going on where I could somewhat understand it lol. Every time we come in they greet him by name and surprisingly he likes it here. He’s a scaredy cat so the fact that his tail is wagging when we walk in is soooo cute!!! I will always recommend this place!! I also want to add my friend has also taken her pets here and had the same great experience!

I was pleasantly surprised at the great service I received at Thrive Buford. I only wish I could remember the names of the staff. From the front office, vet techs, and veterinarian everyone provide 5 star service.

I needed immediate care for my chocolate lab due to an injury that was not life threatening. Unfortunately my regular vet was completely booked until the following morning. I went ahead and looked around and saw Thrive had an available appointment that day.

It was easy to book and they took excellent care of my dog. 10/10 recommend!

Thrive cared for my 4yr old cat who sometimes wanders outside. Brought her in with a small wound on her neck and the staff & doctor provided great care and explained the treatment plan with detail and made sure I understood everything I was paying for. Overall, it was very reasonably priced considering I also took this time to update her vaccines.

I also must mention how welcoming and attentive the front desk staff was. Everything was clean and even though I came in pretty early in the day, I did not smell any foul “pet” smells. That speaks volumes.

I came in with a concern and the doctor also mentioned other observations he made during the exam such as her ears and teeth, which I very much appreciated. My cat, Maya, is very sweet and loves human affection, but sometimes it’s difficult to find veterinary professionals who are not fearful or hesitant with cats unless we go to cat clinics (which are not near me and obviously not an ideal car ride for my felines). It’s always reassuring to find someone who points out small observations because that lets you know they are actually doing a thorough exam.

Great experience for all of us, will be coming back with my other cat to get her up to date soon and I’m confident I found my new clinic for my pets.

Brought my 2 year old baby boy Roscoe in for a blockage. The issue was more advanced than I realized and so a wonderful lady named Alisha at Thrive in Buford took the time to research a proper vet that would be able to take care of him 100% and one that was affordable. Unfortunately, I was too late in getting him there and he passed from renal failure. I received a sympathy email from them this morning and it truly touched my heart. Thank you for your kindness. If I could give you 10 stars, I would! RIP Roscoe Purr Coltrane!
