Larry at LMC saved my 1999 S 320 Mercedes from being sold as scrape metal. I was told by another auto shop that my 1999 valet key had a worn out chip in it causing the car to turn over but not start. After calling over 50 lock specialist with Mercedes all over Southeast, Mercedes service reps and extensive searches on Google, it seemed all but hopeless. I owned a 20 year old car that had been cared for with kit gloves and no way to start it. The advise from the other auto shop, Mercedes and Google was to sell off for parts. was heart sick to think there was no solution to my problem.
My last attempt to find a solution came by a recommendation from a friend to try Larry at LMC. Larry had many years experience with Mercedes and liked to tackle the impossible problems. I figured it was worth a try. Larry agreed to research my issue and a few days later suggest I send the car to him by wrecker. I was blown away that Larry would even consider looking into a solution when everyone had given up. LMC had my car 3 days when I got the GREAT NEWS....the problem was solved and the car cranked right up with the valet key. As I understand it, it was never a worn out key as Fayette Import had diagnosed incorrectly but a blown fuse from the smog detector which happen to also be the fuse for the security system. For less than the cost of having a duplicate key made, Larry had my car running like new. I can truly say that if I had not found Larry at LMC, my car would now be in many pieces at a salvage yard. Instead, I will continue to get many more years from my 1999 S 320 Mercedes. I will never take her to any other technician but Larry at LMC.

It was a real pleasure to meet someone who cared enough to research this problem all the way to the end. I don't know which surprised me more, the fact my car will start or the incredible low price in which I was charged to get my car back running.

Awesome and honest. The owner kept in contact with me through the whole process of buying and installing my new transmission. He kept me under budget and did a few extra things I needed but didn't ask . Very thoughtful and professional. Thank you Larry.
