  Dr. Richard and his staff are excellent! Having gastric bypass surgery was the best decision I ever made (other than choosing Dr. Richard as my surgeon). His program truly prepares you mentally and physically for the surgery. I am now nine years out and am still able to maintain my goal weight thanks to Dr. Richard and his program.

  I am exactly 1 month post op for gastric bypass. I cannot tell you how grateful i am for Dr. Del Mazo and his staff here. Everyone treats you with respect and dignity. They are so comforting and supportive! I didnt know if this was right for me and i was struggling with this decision for years. I am so happy i did this and i actually regret not doing this sooner. Dr. Del Mazo is not the type of Dr to give you 5 minutes and walk out the door. He will give you 100% of his attention and make himself readily available anytime to answer questions. If you have bariatric surgery through them, you have so many resources! They have a fitness trainer to tell you the best things you can do to achieve maximum weight loss, cooking classes, support groups, recipes, dieticians, and a closet where other people who had bariatric surgery donate clothes that dont fit anymore so other patients can walk right in and find something they can borrow until they dont fit in it either and it gets returned to the closet. Im so happy. Thank you Dr. Del Mazo and staff!!

  I can not express the gratitude I have for Dr. Del Mazo, Dr Richards and their staff. They aren't just there to get you in to have the surgery. They form a bond with their patients that last forever. I can't count the times I've called for something now that seems so dumb and yet the nurses stayed on the phone with me to reassure me and calm me down. The nutritionist sending emails or talking on the phone to help keep you where you need to be. They treat us patients with such respect and dignity. You are not just a number in the office you are a human, you become part of a family. Thank you so much for all your dedication to your patients and especially for giving me the tools to get my life back.
