“Cool spot for a beer, a tasty meal, or to gang out and watch the games on the many TVs. The menu is robust with something for everyone. We liked the nachos, and our son enjoyed the chicken tender plate. The kids had fun with the billiards and other games. There’s even a karaoke station. “Our waitress was really good and attentive. Food was delicious. Serving size was good for one person, although, it was a bit pricey for that amount. $18 for one serving of pasta is very steep. I guess if you consider the salad and free bread, it makes sense though. Many restaurants like this don't do the free bread and I was so glad this one did....and not only did they, but we got a basket of 6 for the 3 of us. Very reasonable amount. The bread was very good as well. I had the Tortellini Carissa which had Alfredo, Marinara, and Mozarella. It was very creamy and delicious. Been wanting to try this place for several months but I am never in the area with both kids. Finally got to. The pizza slices are huge and my son liked them. He's pretty picky as well.”

“EDIT: moved from 4 to 5 stars after my third and recent visit. It just gets better and better, I love this place! ORIGINAL: Very good! Fast and friendly service. I have the triple delight lunch special which came with a soup and egg roll. I chose the hot and sour soup, very good and the egg roll was easily one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Oh and the sweet tea? I drank 5 glasses of it was sooo good!!”

“I mean, it's a gas station "restaurant." With that said, here's what I got from our first time: The good - chicharrón is crispy and not greasy, great flavor! - Yucca was crisp and lightly salted that it was well balanced, but not piping hot (definitely not cold either) - baleada was definitely not using hand made tortillas but all the flavors of the queso duro, beans, egg and sour cream were there - i enjoyed them - Guisado de res was well seasoned and cooked, I just wish it had more of the sauce on it. - Prices were great for what we got; 3 people dined in and had leftovers for 35 dollars, after a hefty tip. The not so good - Beans and rice suffer with seasoning issues; beans are over salted/use too much Knorr and the rice pretty much seemed like Uncle Ben's, complete with sauce packet - Pupusas - while HUGE - are very dry for coming out hot. The texture is less a greasy disc of masa - which is not bad per se - and more like a tortilla left on a comal for a bit too long. They definitely were not burnt, but also not soft and gooey like I grew up enjoying. - the Curtido is essentially chopped cabbage with a slight drizzle of vinegar. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, but it's not curtido. I was a bit disappointed since it normally adds to the gooey goodness with a Pupusa, so having both the topping and the Pupusa be dry was a downer The bad Service could use some work. The staff is friendly, but kept disappearing. This might be made better if they had a door chime, but quite a few times we waited for silverware or refills without anyone around. Bottom line: Cheap and pretty decent place to visit if you're looking for a quick bite for Salvadoran food, but don't expect it to be a 5-star dining experience.”

“Let’s start with the most important — the food! The food is AMAZING and Nur has the potential to be one of the best restaurants in Atlanta. Truly. I have lived in both Turkey and Israel and am so grateful to have this food here. The chef is incredibly talented. However, the service is incredibly awful. We were one of three tables and sat with our empty plates in front of us for 20 minutes before we were able to get anyone’s attention. After that, it took even longer to get a box and our check. We wanted to order dessert but could not risk another hour just sitting there. Please train your servers better because it is the only thing getting in the way of this restaurant being amazing. This is not a staff shortage issue as there were more people working than full tables. They all just hung out around the kitchen. The bathrooms needed a lot of attention too even though we were the first ones there for dinner. With so much potential, I hope we can return in a few months to a totally different atmosphere.”

“Generally when I have come in after lunch time, they are all business and gettin' it done! I have never had any issues here. I usually order online and walk in to pick up. Always use coupons (they can be used right on the website for online orders). The hand-made pan, in my opinion, is the only Domino's crust style worth considering. The chicken as a topping is surprisingly good. I enjoy the chocolate lava cakes too. The sandwiches are nothing to write home about.”

Steak was a decent cut a little fatty and cooked a little past my request but to be fair I did eat after the shrimp and it will continue to cook as it was served piping hot! All in all tasted great. My wife ordered the Chicken Carbonara and it was tender and cheesy and tasted amazing, liked it more then my steak. She ordered with vegetables vs noodles. Never had this way before but again was quite good. Waitress was super attentive and kept the soda refills coming and made sure all was to our liking. Would visit here again.”

“Stopped in today right around lunch time to treat my two daughters to a special treat for their good grades in school. We were immediately greeted entering the door! We came for their cheesecake and homemade pound cake! My wife and I talked with the owners and found out they not only have desserts and other sweet treats but a changing menu depending on the day! Today was brunch and they had waffles, salmon burger, breakfast burritos, biscuits and more. We only got the desserts but we'll definitely be back to try more of their menu!!”

Ordered 2 things from bfast menu, so I can’t speak for lunch. I had the breakfast platter that comes with grits, biscuit and gravy, eggs and I chose bacon, which was plenty of food, hot and tasty. The bacon egg biscuit was the favorite. My 2 yr old devoured it. Only reason I didn’t have pictures was because we ate it so fast! Def gna be my new go to spot for when I want a really filling bfast.”

“For one, I love that this is a family owned business and is still holding up for around 30 years. They’re so very friendly and have that Italian/New York Humor and are so nice when we go in. As soon as you step in you get a fresh whiff of homemade pizza. Their place is so pretty, and I’m very happy with the super high health score. Everything tasted fresh, the tzatziki sauce was great as well, the chicken was moist & spicy as I had asked my fries were good but I chose to pickup my order up yesterday and the food was a bit warm. The food I prefer to be hotter as I’ve gotten food picked up and it arrive to my house piping hot so today I went in and placed my order and it was hotter I did place it in one of my thermal bags and returned home but it still was warm with only a 10 min drive home. So I believe this is something that has to be eaten in store to enjoy it at its hottest temperature. Other than that it was great food.”

Sure it's not always perfect, I've had a pizza that wasn't even sliced and one that was burnt in the past but 80% of the time it comes out great. I've only seen 1 or 2 employees working at a time so I can't really blame them for making a mistake every now and then and they do correct it if you're patient.”
