We especially liked the attractive independent houses & cottages available. Also Brookdale has the best business model — rent for life! Many other senior living communities we looked at wanted a deposit of hundreds of thousands of dollars, plus monthly rent, which most middle class retired people would rather leave (their savings & investments — what they’ve worked for all their lives) to their progeny. I have recommended this place to a number of old friends & my siblings. They haven’t planned for the “fourth quarter” at all!”
