“If you love grits like me, give this place a try. I wanted to wait a few months before reviewing. It has now been 6 months. I go maybe 2 or 3 times a week. To eat, I get either a grit bowl, which is actually in a cup, or a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. To drink, I always get a hot Tuscany Toffee. I have tried the turtle freezer. It was good, but too sweet for me. I'm just a hot coffee person. I also get the smoothies for the kids. I've only gone once, and they didn't have any grits. I do wish they would provide a piece of toast with the grits instead of charging $2. There are 2 drivethroughs. Also, be sure to give them your phone number to earn points. They sometimes send our freebies.”

I recommend getting there about 30 minutes early to give yourself plenty of time to explore the castle and check out all the awesome medieval-themed merchandise they have for sale. The food was decent, but definitely not the main attraction here. The highlight of the evening is definitely the tournament, which is incredibly well done and very exciting to watch. “Ok, here is the scoop! A scoop of Potato Salad with a Hamburger, topped with Cheese, jalapeños, ketchup, and mustard. The burger was very good. Nice and moist, cooked to perfection. It was great to be able to add jalapeños too. The bun was very nice too. And for $5! The Potato Salad was a bit different, very creamy with a season salt added to the top. I won't say it was bad, because the taste was OK, however it just was strange in the texture. So, it was very edible and tasted fine. My grandson gave his hotdogs a thumbs-up too! I definitely think, it is worth a visit! I will try to get back and try some of the Barbecue items. The guy running the stand was very friendly and even brought it to the car. He could use a few more selections of drinks. The GPS brought us right to the place, otherwise I would not have known where it was.”

Some of the zucchini had a little char to it and tasted very good with the parmigiana. Husband had prime rib, medium rare. Flavorful. We were so full but had to take home some baklava that just looked amazing in their bakery. Authentic, big pieces. So, so good! Very glad we found Franks while visiting the area. The backside has a small dam and across the bridge is a house and farm. You can see chickens, ducks, etc. entertainment at the restaurant was also very good. Gentleman playing guitar and his singing was not too loud.”
