“I wasn't expecting this restaurant to be great, because it looks very basic and almost temporarily set up. Our meals definitely exceeded expectations. We ordered chicken kabob platter and gyro platter. The chicken was tender yet slightly toasted and great flavor, the rice was delicious! The salad was fresh and lemony, and the garlic paste was SO good, just thinking about it makes me want some right now. The only things I could think of that could improve the meal is some fresh naan and some garlicky pickled turnips. Mm! Definitely will be going back to try more menu items. I can't wait to try their baklava. I gave it five stars because: it exceeded my expectations, the guys running the place are very polite and pleasant to interact with, and we need more restaurants like this that offer variety in the land of fried chicken and biscuits.”

“When I first walked in I was slightly skeptical, the place was empty and when asking questions 2 of the 3 employees seemed to know little to nothing about the place. We ordered a family mean, 1.5 pounds of meat, 2 sides and tea. The brisket was very good, the ribs were super tender and the chicken was just okay. Was not a big fan of the sauce, but personally I never really enjoy too much sauce. I would recommend this place to someone. And will go back”

It's family owned and operated and you can tell. They are warm, gracious, decent people who exemplify professionalism and create a relaxed atmosphere for their patrons. The store is organized and impeccably clean. Additionally, they're stocked with the most nostalgic food items from the Caribbean - some of which I haven't been able to access anywhere else since moving to Atlanta 5 years ago. I simply had to grab some groceries. For the value you're getting, pricing is also quite fair. Even though it's a good looooong drive to get here, I'll be a repeat customer. Their tomato sauce is REALLY good but that same level is missing from some of their other items. Prices are a little high, but so are the portions and ingredients. They didn't skimp out on anything- lots of meat, cheese, etc. in my food. If you're willing to drop the extra few $, you get a product that doesn't feel like someone corporate is pinching pennies.
