“Alcova Elementary has been a wonderful experience for my two kids and for me, as a parent, for the past 5 years. My children have improved their grades, been challenged by their amazing teachers, and excelled in testing as each year has passed. The teachers from the years past have made a concerted effort to continue to be a part of their education, even as they move on to the higher grades. My children have adored each teacher, as have I! The administration at the school is just unbeatable. With a highly attentive principal, fun and interactive VPs, and a staff that truly loves their jobs, I feel so blessed that we have the opportunity to attend this fantastic school! The PTA does so much for the students, staff and families of the school. They truly embody the mission of being a voice for every child. Go visit or even volunteer at this school if it is in your neighborhood! You will be better for it!”

The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because some of the teachers took away recess and elementary school is the only chance you get to have recess. Other than that it's a great school .;D”

St. Jude the Apostle Catholic School has by far been the best school our children have been to - public or private - both in the city of Atlanta and other cities/states. My younger son cried when he left his teacher in the third grade, he told me he never had a teacher care about him and his education and he loved Dr. Kirby. My kids had mrs willingham and mrs Campbell which both were amazing and communicated very well with. And now Ms. Rutan, she had both and is absolutely an amazing woman. And Fountain which all try and help and communicate as much as they can. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone. Staff is always kind, helpful, and friendly.. and they CARE”

“We absolutely love sing first! I have a pandemic baby and I was looking for something to help her interact more with people and be less scared of being around strangers and I couldn't be happier. We started last year and at the first classes my little one was very scared, I explained the situation to Ms Justine and everyone were just amazing! We received support from other mommas that join the same class, everyone would just respect our space until she got comfortable. The songs are really nice and the environment, the vibe is awesome. This year we started going twice a week as my daughter is now enjoying more and more even singing the songs. Also we definitely enjoy the songs and dances that allow a very nice mom/baby interaction. Everyone is very nice and respectful with the little ones, allowing them to express themselves. I would definitely recommend it”
