“I’m somewhat disappointed in the bad reviews that Elkins Pointe has gotten. I must disagree with the majority because I still go to this school. A matter of fact i’ve been at this school for three years now. The food isn’t the best, but it gets you fed and plenty of my peers actually enjoy the food. There aren’t fights every single day, and I don’t know what some of you people are talking about when you say there is drug use in that school. The teachers are great and I actually have a pretty good relationship with all of my teacher. Elkins also helped me develop my talents of drawing and playing the violin. Also while there are many rude kids there, it’s not the schools fault that they are rude. Plus for every rude kid there are five trust worthy people that can be a freind.”

“This church is amazing. After being a Christian since birth, walking away as an adult this church has restored my faith. Their motto is "Love First" and it shows. Church members who truly care have welcomed me helped me and my children at a tragic time in our lives. Their Bible classes and church services have taught me the Word in such a refreshingly profound and honest way. They serve the local and global community. The youth ministry is so engaging - my kids are excited about going! Of course no church is perfect just as no person is perfect - but I have never encountered such genuine Christians in my life. “After living in Hamel for years, circumstances in 2013 dictated a temporary move to Edwardsville. I have since moved back to Hamel, but even during my exile to E’ville, sometimes I’d drive the extra 10 miles to use the Hamel Post Office. This is nothing against the fine folks at the Edwardsville branch, but like so many things in my adopted home town, the staff at the Hamel Post Office embodies the very best of small town America: personal, personable, & professional. In short, you just couldn’t ask for better service or nicer people.”

“Have been with TYS at KR for 4 years and a half. My older started when she was 8 weeks old. Her teachers and the administrative team have been amazing. My daughter started off with Karla and except last year she has been with Karla. Karla is amazing. Caring, loving, knowledgeable and very passionate at what she does. My toddler says "Ms Karla is very sweet" at least once a day. Ms. Dale is a great director. She has great communication, plans great programs in the class, and addresses all of our concerns. We have always had a great group of teachers (Ms. Sharron, Erin, Dale, Karla, Shaheen) on the right side of the school and were very nervous when our infant wanted to start at the forest cottage (the left side). Very soon we realized that Heather, Kimi and the helpers (Jade, Cami, Jess) in forest cottage are amazing teachers. Every time we watch the camera we see one of them playing with our infant or caring for her. My infant litteraly opens her arms for heather and Kimi in the morning. This is very assuring. They share many pictures and share all the moments with us. After the transition in management there have been issues that needs improvement such as tuition increase, cutting the hours after COVID and still billing the same tuition, errors in billing, but non of them were a deal breaker and we never doubted how much we love TYS at KR and mostly because of the amazing teachers. but We are very thankful we chose this school and were able to stay with them for years.”

“Hands down the absolute best ER visit! Everyone in the facility was friendly, helpful, caring, supportive, knowledgeable, attentive, and professional. We weren’t even there for 15 minutes and my daughter was already in a room, vitals taken, blood drawn, IV started, meds given, and X-rays taken! Wow!! Not only were her needs given priority, but I was asked several times if I needed anything and was given my own heated blanket when I was cold. The quality of care given at this facility far exceeds that of any medical facility I have ever been to! I truly cannot praise the staff enough for their dedication and commitment to outstanding patient care!”
