Hau Tree

Located at the Kaimana Beach Hotel which recently got a new owner this place I believe will become a hot spot for locals and trendy adventurist.

I was surprised at how bustling it was and also running into many people I would know. The view of the Hau tree, sunsets and the beach along with the open air provide for a nice happy hour or dinner during this Covid era.

The food was as expected from this well known chef. The drink select could be expanded more but with the short turn around time on the ownership change I think we will see more as time moves on.

Parking is a challenge but there is valet at $10. You can opt around the park but expect to wait as the park is crowded.

Mahi was delicious but they flank steak stole the show. Excellent Mai Tai's. Yuzu tart wasn't great. Beach and view were amazing.

I highly recommend the Hau Tree Lanai! It would be great anytime of day, but if you can snag a reservation or walk in table around sunset that is icing on the cake. Food was absolutely delicious, and service was impecable! Will definitely be going back again!

Great beach sunset view and an excellent meal, perfect way to end the evening!
