(March 5, 2020, 12:05 pm)Feeling like you're in the middle of a rainforest (because you are!) Yet only being about 30 minutes from downtown Waikiki is just amazing. Lush and tropical, with lots of interesting bird sounds and plants to delight you as you hike. A small waterfall awaits at the top of the relatively level hike, and it was easy enough to get some time alone for some photos, despite the many people coming and going.

(February 12, 2020, 6:01 pm)Beautiful secluded hike. About 4 miles. Took us about 2 1/2- 3 hours total. Can be a bit challenging and steep in some areas but completely worth the effort.

(February 6, 2020, 2:03 am)Incredible hike, highly recommend! Bamboo forest, many streams and rocks to climb over and through, and a beautiful waterfall to enjoy. Wear good shoes - good for most fitness levels and ages.

(October 15, 2019, 9:19 am)Great hike in the mountains...starts off kinda easy then slowly gets more rugged. At times it was super muddy but I was with a 70 year old and a 3 year old and 4 others of different ages and skills/ability all made it and enjoyed it. Use bug spray as the mosquitoes were bad!
