Arancino at The Kahala

I love this place because of the chefs - especially a gentleman named Kieron. Trade secret: Always ask who's in the kitchen that evening. His style is understated where he demands the flavors of the food speak for themselves and enhanced only to bring out regional nuances where the food came from. We had scallops from Maine, caviar from Russia (or Western Alaska), and beef from Japan... all he prepared so carefully with love as if he's preparing it for his mother's last meal on her last birthday as she floats into eternity. He could cook for titans of the culinary industry or for Presidents.

Very good... Fresh made pasta. Is a bit on the pricey side...but expected for the location.

Just so awesome & enjoyable. Food was delicious & staff was outstanding!

We sat down around 11:45. Had a choice of inside or outside. We chose inside. We were they're 1st customers. Place was quiet we didn't have to repeat ourselves in our conversations. Atmosphere was great, I was impressed to see 2 waiters walk in our section and wipe down the chairs. I really enjoyed the food . Salad was good, main dish excellent and very good desserts. Portions were on the smaller side but way enough for me. I didn't have to feel all bloated up walking out. I enjoyed myself and would definitely go back. I forgot, service was excellent!
