I love these guys. Besides building canoes locally in Hawaii they ship them to the mainland as well. I have two Pueos from the little shop in Kailu, Oahu and love paddling them in the Pacific Northwest. The canes runs well on the Willamette River and doing downwind runs in the Columbia River gorge every year. No knocks on the Ozone canoes but having a Kamanu canoe here in Portland is a rare sight. There’s just not that many people with the patience to wait for a custom built canoe from Hawaii.
