Shaka Guide Apps

Very well done. Immediately redirects if you choose to change course. Very interesting local history and stories. Respectful of the culture. Took us all the way to the southernmost point of the U.S.

Wow! This app was amazing! The road to Hana tour was worth the money! It helped us understand what we were seeing and did a great job of advice for the day! Without the app I don’t know that the road to Hana would’ve been worth checking out. The eucalyptus trees and the beaches were amazing! Bring cash for snacks and drinks. There were some great places for food and treats but cash only. We did find an atm in a Hana general store and that helped us out.

Sooo worth it. I love how the app adapts to your location. I felt like I had a personal tour guide of Oahu! It leads us to places we would never have gone and recommended we pull over and take pictures that were amazing vantage points.

We did the classic road to Hana and the our "Shaka Guy", as the kids came to call our narrator, was a great companion. The app itself was great in tracking where we were and giving timely directions and narration. Lots of information about stops and history and culture we wouldn't have gotten driving without it. We were considering doing a guided tour with a tour group but were very happy with the Shaka Guide and driving ourselves.

We used the Shaka Guide during our vacation to Oahu and Maui. The guide was great and very easy to use. The background music is relaxing. The guide has just the right combination of history, points of interests, interesting facts, and restaurant recommendations. We loved that the guide automatically picked up based on GPS. This gave us the ability to explore on our own and then once we were back on route, the guide picked up. It also had unique points of interest that most of the public were not aware. Overall, we were very happy with the guide and recommend it.
