  My stay at the Lumi Yoga house was perfect. Reetta and Jyrki were great teachers, hosts and just generally lovely people with lots of enthusiasm, passion and joy for doing what they're doing. I loved the family meals, always so tasteful and fresh, with lots of veggies and fruits, cooked by their oldest daughter. Also the other children are all awesome - quiet during nighttime and respectful during yoga sessions. The yoga sessions with Reetta, either under the Mango tree or in a separate quiet and peaceful room, were just great. Surfing with Jyrki was an amazing experience. It was my first time and he was patient and helped me a lot. A simply awesome stay with lovely people, who felt like family!!!

  The Lumi Yoga + Surf Camp was a great experience! So much so that I've returned and experienced Lumi Yoga a second time!
  
  Jykä and Reetta were amazing hosts. The family of kids that are also in the accommodations are great kids. I stayed in my own private room at their house which is only a few minutes from the beach by car. I had access to a bike (provided by Lumi) to tour the island with complete freedom.
  
  One of the best parts is that you can experience the island like a local. They definitely made me feel like part of the family. Something you don't experience at an Air B&B or traditional hotel.
  
  I look forward to coming back and visiting again!

  Great surf and yoga camp! Everything was perfect! The food was great, the surf sessions were really nice and the kids are so adorable. Reetta and Jykä are so nice and welcoming people. I felt like home from the first moment and never wanted to leave again. There wasn't anything I didn't like. I'll definitely come back!

  Didn't want to leave! Jyka and Reeta made me and all the guests feel like part of the family as well as take us to some great surf spots around the North Shore. We got to surf a variety of breaks, and Jyka took us to the best spots in the area based on the day's conditions. He helped me surf bigger waves than I had previously, and I saw that he was very good with the guests who were just learning to surf. Reeta was one of the best yoga teachers I've ever had, and the yoga sessions helped us recover for the next day's surf. Will definitely be going back!

  The Lumi Yoga + Surf Camp was a great experience!
  I booked a week of surfing and yoga and it did not disappoint
  (despite me having no previous surfing knowledge).
  
  Both Jykä (surf teacher) and Reetta (yoga teacher) were welcoming, helpful, and kind. I stayed in a shared room at their house (with another guest) which is very close to the beach (short bike ride away). The couple also stays in the same house with their 6 kids (all wonderful!) and any other travelers who also booked the trip. It is a casual, family style environment where you can explore and experience the island like a local while still being in very safe and capable hands. They definitely made me feel like part of the family.
  
  I was also lucky enough to also get along well with the other guests and have a wonderful time together! I look forward to coming back and visiting again—so grateful to have had an experience like it.
  Worth every penny.
  
  Note: this is not an experience for everyone. If you're looking for a more private and posh setting where you're at your own schedule and like to sleep in— consider a hotel. This is more of a communal / casual setting for people who constantly travel & want to disconnect a bit from the sitting at a desk with a phone glued to you all day.
