Honu Smiles Pediatric Dentistry

Dental assistants worked so well with my son. Every single night it’s a fight to clean his teeth but they made my son comfortable and he did not fight once. He was laughing while getting his clean. Loveeeeee this dentist ❤️

Honu Smiles is a wonderful dentist office that makes your child feel so comfortable and they are well taken care of. The dental hygienists are all very gentle and sweet and the dentists are very caring and take the time to sit with you and explain everything you need to know about your child's dental care. The office is very kid friendly and the office staff are so friendly and kind as well. I would highly recommend them!

Both my Children have been coming here for years. Excellent service as always. You can tell the staff love their job because everyone is very helpful and friendly, even with screaming kids in the background (my toddler was on of them). The staff stays calm and helpful with uneasy kids. Even though my toddler threw fits, the staff knows how to help you get through the appointment. I was grateful that the staff let me take my toddler to his big brothers appointment so that he could see how “he should be acting” during his appointment. He used to be scared throwing tantrums, kicking and screaming. However yesterday was the first time he remained calm and behaved. The clinic is very clean, and technology is up to date. My 11 year old loves it there, and 4 year old (FINALLY) loves it there. He says he’s not afraid of the Dentist anymore!

This place was amazing for our first visit! We moved to Oahu recently and my younger son (with mild spectrum Autism) has been anxious about a new dental visit here. He had a rough experience with our previous one. I explained this over the phone with the staff when making an appointment. They did very well with him and didn’t “over baby” him. He was nervous still, but came out happy. They did well with my older daughter as well, no complaints from her!

Waiting room is nice, they have a TMNT mini arcade! Overall great experience and the MD has great “bedside” manner.
