Serene park with lots of trees and a picnic tables scattered throughout. Boat ramp for freshwater fishing. A restroom and lots if parking.
The Wahiawa Freshwater State Park is an amazing place to explore a tranquil environment in nature. I highly suggest for kayaking and fishing, however you’ll need a permit for freshwater fishing and also vehicle access (especially if you have a trailer/boat).
You can find some peace and quiet here but you have to paddle a bit...
Still have not caught a peacock bass though I'm sure one will be willing in the future?
