Dan's Ma'ili Shave Ice

I grew up here in the Waianae coast and this is my absolute favorite shave ice place! I recommend it over any place else! The Aunties are like family to us! Please go if you have a chance! It's like clouds of ice! Soft and it just melts in your mouth!

Rainbow shaved ice with ice cream!! It was Amazing!!! It’s very close to the pink pill box hiking spot. A must try!

This place gets 10 stars for amazing shave ice!!! I definitely prefer this over Matsumoto shave ice. They have really good ice-cream flavors and tasty shave ice flavors.

Go all in for ice cream and snow top (condensed milk)! Family run business with other snacks and microwaveable food. But really just get some insane flavours and ride the brain freeze and sugar high. We met Dan, he was cool.

As previously mentioned the large is gigantic. I would have been fine with a small but managed the medium.

Also, my friend has a Snickers milkshake which she gave a big thumbs up.

There’s a hike up to a pillbox (you can see the hill from the store), so it would be a great place to cool off after the descent.
