Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center

All the doctors we've had here in pediatrics, women's medicine, and adult medicine have been fabulous. They've listened and referred us to the right specialty docs when needed and work closely with them. I appreciate that the westside has this clinic so close to home.

KA AHAAINA cafe is an incredible place to eat due to the good food, low cost but more importantly to the peaceful environment. The cafe is built on the side of the mountain on stilts with a wrap around balcony. You eat inside but the balcony is open for viewing. During whale season we have stood outside and watched pods of whales swimming by. Opposite of the cafe mountain side is a series of tree covered hiking trails, mostly paved, with numerous resting places. I rate this as one of the best places on the island.

Enter the Health center go straight up the hill to the top. Turn left at upper parking lot go to the end of the parking lot. Turn right up the hill and you reach the cafe parking lot.

Again, one of the best places I’ve found on Oahu. Give yourself about 3 hours to eat and walk the trails which have interactive interpretation exhibits.

Hiking trails on hospital grounds are incredible for rehabilitation.
