“Absolutely the best barbershop to come get your haircut if you work on the waterfront portion of the base in Pearl Harbor. They don’t always have a big number of barbers ready to cut hair, but if you come early in the morning or later in the evening it’s a good way to get in and out quickly with a decent haircut. The best thing about this NEX Barber Shop is that it’s open early in the morning on both the weekdays and on the weekends. Definitely recommend it to everyone.”

“It was interesting to go and visit Tahitian Treasures. It is a beautiful mini stall located at the Hukilau Market and also near the Tahitian Village in the Polynesian Cultural Center. It is interesting that most of their item are brought from Tahiti and the stall at the market place has some really nice souvenirs for guest that come to PCC. If you do get the chance to talk with the owners, they are really nice.”

They’ve got two floors, upstairs is men’s and children’s with dressing rooms up there as well as dressing rooms downstairs. The first floor has all women’s apparel split up across the floor… They had plenty of sales and we’re already updating for their fall collection this year.”

The fancy schools near my work do not even come close to offering the same enriching programs that Makaha Elementary did. “Delicious food and great service. They don't take reservations but they do walk-ups (first-come-first-serve). Worth the money for delicious "cook your own" and "all you can eat." Cocktails are ono. The grills are great and have excellent smoke ventilation that suck the smoke away. Hair still smells like BBQ at the end of the evening but at least your stomach is full and happy. Definitely recommend.”
