“I love writing reviews because they help people determine whether or not they should take a chance on it or pass it up. So I decided to write our experience. We are a military family. We signed our lease for 1 year. After our lease we did month to month since we only had 3 months left on island. When we signed our lease we were a family of 5 and a cat. We got a 2 bedroom and it worked out well for us. Then we found out we were expecting so we added another to the family in our small apartment but we made it work. Pros of the apartments: we have stores right across from us. I loved having Walmart/Times in walking distance. Run out of something while cooking? Pop on over to Times. Like I loved it. Maintenance was always fast and sufficient for us. Depending on the time we called with a problem, maintenance would either come that same day or bright and early the next morning. We only had a problem with our tub not draining, our toilet running & our washer leaking. All got fixed and never had problems after that. It’s quiet here for the most part. It’s a mix of locals and military. We got to know our neighbors around us. After a while everyone starts looking out for each other and I loved that. Never really had any problems here. The only cons I would say are centipedes. We lived on the bottom floor so idk if that played a role. Two ended up crawling in bed with us and biting my husband so that was an experience. It became like an everyday thing where the would literally walk in through our front door liked they owned the place lol. I started spraying our door once a week with raid and then we seen the centipedes less so I guess that worked 🤔. We had three geicos which I didn’t mind because my cat took care of them. Ants were a big problem when we first moved in as well but ant traps solved that. Roaches come and go as the please as well but if you really think about it, we live on an island. There’s going to be bugs everywhere you go. Overall we had a good experience. If we moved back on island and back to the apartments I’d probably request the second floor but other then that we enjoyed our stay!”

“Our water heater had a leak and needed to be replaced. After a plumbing company came out from Kailua and gave me an estimate that was outrageous, I asked some neighbors who else I could call, they pointed me to Hi-tech plumbing! I’m so glad they did! Kerry was very easy to get in contact with and personable! He was able to get me a new water heater and have it installed within 2 days of my call. His quote was much much less than the other company! Steve the installer did an amazing job and took the time to explain how to maintain the system so I can extend the life. Overall, Kerry and his team at Hi-Tech are honest and affordable! They will certainly be my go to plumbing company for life!”

“This is one of a few indoor basketball courts I've been to. Limited hours, but they need a supervisor there at all times. Amenities include: bathrooms, a COLD water fountain (!!), additional meeting rooms which I see being using by a church(?) or just some well-dressed group on Sundays, vending machines, bleachers, and they have extended hours for basketball league play. The courts are odd because you use them sideways, so 4 hoops are available. Bathrooms are pretty dirty. Overall, it's free, so great value, and a great facility for the neighborhood. Parking: the lot outside is limited, especially when there is a baseball game being played, but you can street park along Lanakila Avenue, and also up on North Kuakini St.”

“This Taco Bell has an excellent group of employees. They work seamlessly as a team. The food is good and a healthier option in fastfood. Also, today as we waited on our order inside the restaurant I dropped a beach by mistake. When I could not find it, I called the restaurant and a very nice lady I will refer to as "C" located it and put it into a safe place until I could return to retrieve it. It is nice to know there are still such people with excellent character, very honest, polite, kind.”
