(December 5, 2015, 3:49 pm)I am quite the fan of New Horizon Academy for my three year old. He's been to two other daycare/academy facilities in the valley and this one is easily the best. The teachers are required to have degrees in child education or working towards them, which is more than what you'd get at some facilities in the valley that only require the person left with your child to know (CPR and that's it! :( ). My son threw minor tantrums when being dropped off to other daycare facilities but loves running in to visit the teachers of all the class rooms.
They've got a nifty app, and if you don't have that email system, that gives you updates on your child and what they did that day. Which is lovely.
I knew I picked a winning place when the first 'big' snow fall came and the older kiddos were heading outside with their teachers.. a snow ball fight ensued and instead of scolding children..they were encouraged to have fun and be safe while they were at it.
My son loves this place and so do I!
