The Dance Closet Boise

Love this place. There’s space and lawn to enjoy a nice picnic, BBQ under the pavilion, restrooms and a playground. Walk the trails or walk down to enjoy the water. Getting to the water is a walk down but I appreciate it because it keeps it less trafficked that what it could be. Don’t get me wrong, families love coming down to the water too. Wonderful way to pack up lunch and spend time on the water without much hassle or a super long hike. I’ve enjoyed mornings, days, and evenings down by the water- it never gets old. Nice place to hang a hammock along the water banks; or go down further on the trail for more seclusion along the water.

Absolutely loved it!!!?? My Granddaughter's birthday party was a success. Lot's a room for all the kids to run and play. The pavilion was very nice also. The staff was excellent!!! Great family place.👍😊

This was my 1st time at this park/ walking trail. The river was nice. The paved walking trail was great! I would give 5 stars if they had more signage and a map of sorts. I was unsure of where the walking trail actually started and how many miles it is. I stayed on the paved trails since I had no idea where everything else went. I will go to the website to do more research and definitely go back. The park was really nice too and they have a nice Pavillion.

A large park with trails for horses, bikes and humans. From the bicycle parking area, there are many trails leading down to and along the river. The system of trail markers, directionals and blazes leaves something to be desired, but don't worry - pretty much all of the trails circle back to the parking lot. Just take a picture of the trail map over by the bathrooms and use your Google maps to figure out roughly where you are, should you get a little turned around. Nobody's been lost for good in there ... that we know of anyway.

Speaking of blazes and directional signs, this might be an excellent Eagle Scout project - I'm looking at you Troop 580. ; )

From the multi-use parking area, there's a very nice paved walking loop that goes along the river and out into fields - great for getting your steps in or finding a place to dangle your feet in the water.

As with all parks, take a few minutes to stop, find some flowers and watch. You'll see a whole other world going on that you would have totally missed otherwise. Bees, butterflies, wasps, spiders and other bugs that have no interest in you - just doing the pollination thing. Or if bugs gross you out, that's fine. Just be quiet and listen to the birds for a few minutes and connect to nature a little. It's good for you.

Great park!
Might want to have a good sense of where you are and direction as the trail markings are a bit...unusual.
And there are lots of improvised trails.
But I love it!

It's a closet for sure but really cute! Had what I needed and in my size. Really tiny place and kind of hidden. Google Maps shows it as behind Echo Dance Studio but it's not. In fact, I think you have to go thru The Dance Closet to get to the studio.

The only place I shop for dance shoes, tights and attire. They have a generous return policy and always have everything I need in stock. I have even special ordered items and they ship quickly. The store seems small but they have tons of extra inventory upstairs so they always have the size I am looking for.

We have been going to The Dance Closet for 3 years now! Our daughter is 12 years old and on Pointe shoes, the fittings are amazing and one on one! They take the time to make sure the shoe they put on our daughter is the RIGHT shoe. They take their time and are so patience to try on dozens of shoes sometimes more then once is outstanding! FANTASTIC place to go for any dance shoe need!
