Todd came out the same day and removed a squirrel from the exhaust above my cooktop. I had him put screens on the roof vents so this doesn't happen again. The squirrel was then released back into the neighborhood.
There is nothing like getting a terrifying call from your mother at 4 o'clock in the morning. She is in her late 70s, living alone, and when you get a call at that hour you figure that absolute disaster has occurred. I was really scared when that phone right and I saw that it was from her. Fortunately, it was just that a raccoon had gotten into your home. That was still pretty scary, but it wasn't a disaster. At least it wasn't the disaster that first popped into my mind. However, I knew that something had to be done right away. I went over there to get her to bring her back to our home, because she clearly wasn't sleeping there. I then made a call and Joe was out before 10 AM. He was great at what he did. Got rid of that raccoon, and helped to make sure that none could get back in the future. He even showed my mother exactly what he had done and she felt comfortable enough to return. She even offered him a cup of tea, and he was gracious enough to stay for a little while and talk with her. I appreciated him going the extra mile that way, and he sure won her over. Thank you Joe for making my mom’s life a little easier.
Okay, I will admit that baby squirrels are as adorable as it gets, but I still didn't want them in the walls of my home or in the attic. That was just too much to bear, and I had to do something about it. Dan did a great job of capturing the squirrels and showing me how I could keep them from coming back in. He was so gentle with those babies and handled the mother well as well. A great job all the way around. You guys are the best!
