Anyone who owns a car with black exterior paint will likely tell you two things…. (1) A black car looks AWESOME when it’s clean and polished, and (2) Keeping a black car well cleaned and polished can be a NIGHTMARE! Knowing how difficult it can be to maintain a black car, I searched the web looking for a Boise-area auto detailer that could keep my brand new black ride looking its best. In the end, 3 different detail shops came out at the top of my web search. My guess is these same 3 shops would be among most folks’ top picks. During the first year I owned the car I visited 2 of my top 3 shops. I’m not going to name them, but I will tell you I was NOT a happy customer. The first shop on my list did such a poor job detailing the exterior that there was still road dirt on the doorsills and wheel wells when I picked up the car. When the time came for the next exterior detail, I elected to try the second shop on my list. They convinced me that a ceramic paint coating was the way to go. Unfortunately, when I picked up the car two days later there were swirls and hard water spots clearly visible on the hood and dead bugs on the front bumper… all of which now had a nice ceramic coating over them! After spending over $1000 on really bad auto detailing, I seriously thought about buying a different car… one that WASN’T black! Before taking that drastic step, I decided to try the third shop on my list, “Buff Guy Auto Detailing”. The old saying “Third Time’s the Charm” was right! Rich at Buff Guy is AMAZING. I honestly didn’t think anyone would be able to repair the damage done by the prior detail shop... but Rich works miracles! He is an auto detailing professional that genuinely cares about the work he does. If you think “Pride of Workmanship” is a quality that’s been lost today… fear not, Rich at Buff Guy still has it !!!!

I bought a 2012 F150 and it had never had the interior cleaned. It was full of dog hair and smelled like hell. Rich and his guys cleaned everything out and got rid of the smell. They did a fantastic job. It looks like new.I highly recommend them

Rich and his crew did an amazing job fixing some scratches ultra car wash made, along with a beautiful ceramic coat to finish! They have attention for the details, are super helpful with scheduling and accommodating. It's the best deal for the best quality. I will definitely be coming back!
