  I took my Fiancé for the first time and he loved it! Food was hot and fresh and the service was great! The chowder is always my favorite (He liked it too! And he's pretty picky) ❤ it's gonna be a regular thing, now.. ????????

  First time we have stopped in, in a few years. Food was great. He has some tables open for dine in. Place was so clean and he was very attentive to is bringing everything we needed to the table.We enjoyed our dinner.

  Food was good especially the clam chowder and tables are kept at a distance accommodating social distancing.

  Skippers is one of those places that I have been going to since a kid- and going there is like going on a nostalgic trip back in time. The chowder is exactly as I remember it and the fish options are largely unchanged as well. They have some grilled options and chicken for those who don't like fish - but that is what you generally visit Skippers for, isn't it? Remember- classic fish is breaded, and the pub style is battered, and the fries are large "steak fries" and usually aren't all that crispy- not that that is a bad thing- just so you know. Also, be prepared for the prices to have increased with time as well.

  Really great service and clam chowder is amazing! The in house made sauces are a certain bonus and the tartar sauce sells separately. The fish and chips are very good for Boise for sure. You get to choose fries and slaw or jello. The ambiance is same as I remember as a kid! Drinks are free refills. They even have pink Himalayan salt ad an option. I believe this establishment has been here 50 years! Wow what a treat!
