I came here late at night right before closing. Didn't have a car and only drive through was open but thankfully Myra, an absolute saint, helped me out. She had already closed her till, but she found a way to get me rung out so I could get some food - I hadn't eaten all day. She made my day by offering true hospitality.
It's McDonald's...food will taste the same no matter what McDonald's establishment you enter. Service is always fast and friendly, the reason why we continue to be customers.
i visited around noon on a weekday and the drive thru was completely empty. the girl who took my order over the intercom was very nice and quick. my food was prepared quickly and i was charged fast as well. my to go order did have some modifications and they were all correct. lastly, i noticed their custodial staff was keeping the drive thru clean in between cars and taking out the trash in the parking lot.
Great park. Unfortunately a lot of teams fight for the space and there isn't a defined way for them to reserve it. You could have a field that is rarely used and then suddenly a football field painted and a whole team takes over. Would like some kind of "reservation" process.
Lots of room to practice obedience with my dog. Bathrooms still available the end of October!
Our kids enjoyed this playground! There is a lot of open space as well. There are 4 swings, 2 for younger children and 2 regular swings. There is covered seating available and bathrooms as well. The play surface is bark. We'll definitely be back!
This place has chandeliers
Great place to walk around and get some exercise in. They have a nice long track and bathrooms and a water fountain and of course playground equipment. There’s also a small pond. Overall a lovely little park, can be a bit crowded at times though.
Melissa, thank you for a little history on Gordon Harris Park. My Wife and I moved into our new house across from a field that eventually became Gordon Harris Park. Years after we moved in I watched the park transfer from a weed patch to a beautiful park that is enjoyed by many local families. I walk the park three or four times a day and have enjoyed watching kids use the playground, families bar-b-q, flag football, kite flying, and even my quiet early morning walks at sunrise before anyone is in the park. I'm sure Gordon would be very proud if he could see how it's enjoyed today.
