Mike is a great, patient,understanding, professional teacher who goes above and beyond to help my son learn music. If we have questions throughout the week about his lesson we can call or text and Mike is happy to answer them. So blessed to have found Rising Star Guitar and my son counts down the days till his next lesson.haha!;) We can't thank you enough Mike!;)

My boys, ages 10 and 13, have been going to Rising Star Guitar since January for lessons. Their progress has been incredible! Mike is enthusiastic and he clearly loves music and guitar. He's a hands-on "watch me, now you try" type of teacher, which works for my kids.

Carson started lessons with Mike a couple months back and was one of his first students. Carson looks at Mike as a great Teacher, Role Model and nice guy all around. He loves his lessons and looks forward to learning every week. Carson really likes that Mike is interested in teaching music that the student is interested in wanting to learn. I would highly recommend Mike to anyone interested in learning guitar. As Carsons mom I have talked with Mike on several occasions and he is truly one of the most sincere guys that you will meet.

Wonderful experience for my daughter that has some learning disabilities! Mike is kind, patient, and has a heart of gold! Taking time to find the right songs and individual teaching style. A true blessing to our family! Highly recommend if you want to learn and have fun!
