This a great place to take your family. The history they have in this museum is amazing. It definitely makes a person be thankful for all that the military and service members have gone through so the rest of us can live our lives in freedom. I highly recommend it!
This place is pretty cool with lots of artifacts from WW2!. I really like how many people who served in the war donated their uniforms and metals and such and told about their experiences so the next generations know what truly happened through the eyes of the people who lived! The price to enter is kinda steep hence the four stars. However, if you're a history buff or someone who wants to learn a little more about a war that changed the world it's definitely a place to visit!
One of the better museums on the subject. The docents are great. I got a valve from a Wasp Radial Engine from the gift shop. Plan a minimum of an hour of you're wearing roller skates. Easily spend 2-3 hours if you want the full experience.
A bit on the expensive side for an air museum. I love that it's a self-guided tour. Way too much history to get through in one or even five visits. I'd say if you love history and/or aviation then I'd just get a membership.
It's kid friendly. We brought our 2 year old and he loved it. They even had a kids section with coloring pages, an astronaut photo board, and Lego building exercise. Plenty of room to bring a stroller as well.
Super place. So much history
