“Let me start by saying that my truck repair ended up being more "involved" than what I originally thought was a blown head gasket. It turned out that an injector had cracked and ended up melting a piston. Ouch! 😖 That being said, once the shock had worn off and the decision was made to repair the BRP (Big Red Pig) Blake made excellent recommendations on all of the replacement parts to help me meet my requirements to have an ultra reliable trailer-towing-beast when everything was completed. He kept me from cutting corners or overdoing things (injectors and turbo that were too large for one) that would have kept me from meeting the goal I had in mind for the final build configuration and performance goal for the truck. Once the repairs were underway, Blake's attention to detail was very much appreciated. He didn't just pull old parts from the old motor and slap them on the new motor, he cleaned and painted things like the thermostat housing/radiator hose connection, engine lifting lugs, alternator mounting brackets, AC compressor mounting brackets, power steering pump mounting brackets, etc. He also replaced all of the factory wiring harness holders with new ones since many of them had been broken over the course of the life of the truck due to routine maintenance procedures. The truck now runs like never before in the previous 18-years since I bought it new. Once I get a few more miles on the new motor I look forward to hooking onto the camp trailer and dragging it all over with the truck. Emerson Diesel is going to see a lot of me and the BRP for any future work whether it be maintenance, repairs, or possibly some additional "upgrades". 👍”

“Chuck Lang of All Northwest Painting has done several projects for me, ranging from "handy man" work through wallpaper removal and painting. I have nothing but positive things to say about the quality of his work and what a wonderful human being he is. Here's a list of the projects Chuck has done for me. All were done to my complete satisfaction: 1. Cleaning pine needles and debris from my roof and deck. 2. Cleaning gutters and installing gutter guards. 3. Removing an old potting shed that contained an active hornet's nest. 4. Removed kitchen wallpaper and repainted. 5. Fixed sub-flooring and replaced the plywood of a very squeaky old floor. 6. Removed wallpaper, repaired walls, and repainted my family room. Chuck is knowledgeable, thorough, and doesn't take shortcuts. I'm usually the one who wants to take a shortcut and he talks me out of it. :) Each job he's done for me has been worth every dollar. I should also mention that he is prompt and keeps me informed when things are not going to plan. Chuck is also a great guy, very approachable and personable. I highly recommend Chuck for any project. “The room was quiet, comfy, bed was perfect for me and I have back problems! The staff was kind and always helpful 24/7 and do mean 24 hour's a day! I have a service dog, she had good places to walk and go potty, and in the 10+ day's I stayed here we had some pretty good snow storms, access to take her out was great! My son, and my 3 granddaughters came over to go swimming and jacuzzi, they had a blast, everything was clean and well kept! And the breakfast was a nice touch, and nice variety! Overall, very good!
