Marquette Park and Fishing Spot

Been going there since childhood. Catfish, Pike, Bullhead, Bluegill, are what i caught. There was this one time i was night fishing and i saw something swiming close to the pier, it looked like a fish so i reached in to grab it pulled it out and it had legs! Scared the heck out of me so i dropped it on the ground. Turned out to be a mud puppy about a foot long. It was a weird but cool catch. Nice place for the kids and i have yet to play the 18 that's there. Haven't seen it firsthand but i hear it's nice.

Nice course. Not a lot of people. But I enjoyed it. Worth the trip!

Marquette Park is a nice place to take
your children where they can play at the playground, or just run around..
I enjoyed my visit there.

It wasn’t as clean as I had hoped and some of the signage around the park is in poor condition. I enjoyed jogging here one afternoon and loved hearing uninterrupted sounds of nature in the city. I also appreciate the free parking!
