Ole A. Thorp Elementary Scholastic Academy

I love this school! This is my daughter's second year at Thorp, as parent I came in with high expectations and this school has exceeded my expectations. I have recommended this school to many of my friends, and encourage them to keep applying, as there is a high demand of students wanting to come to Thorp, that says a lot about a school. I love the academic rigor, teachers, community, diversity... but overall the leadership, if you have great principals, you have great teachers, if you have great teachers, you have great students, if you have great students, you have a great school, that's what Thorp is all about! I love seeing my daughter run to school each morning, and that's important to me, since this is her second home, I want to know I'm leaving my daughter in an atmosphere where she feels happy and ready to learn! Highly recommend Thorp!!

This is our 1st year at Thorp. My son was accepted into the 7th grade. We couldn't be happier. The academics are much stronger than where he came from. We love how the children are placed in courses to fit their academic needs. My son has been very impressed with how compassionate the students are. He was welcomed with open arms and has made many friends. The teachers truly care about their students and make them feel confident in themselves. We are very fortunate to be part of this great school.
