  I discovered this wonderful preseve and the adjacent neighborhoods of Willowood and Edgebrook, mostly because of a construction detour on Devon. I appreciated the calm, winding stretch of river and curvaceous land in what is a typically flat city. In addition to the excellent main paved path, I love that you can take dirt trails deep into the woods and walk up and down small dips, submerged in tall trees and other plant life. Go!

  Looks like a tight knit community park here which is good for many reasons. You can see a lot of houses around the park. I see a lot of runners and walkers, unlike some of the other parks Ive been too. Not many trees around this park. The park does look safe though.
  
  Looks like a spot for good gatherings because the parking lot is huge. I can picture a car club picnic going down here. Space big enough for soccer, football games, etc. The trails are paved for bicyclist, so thats awesome!

  Great woods with trail that leads up to the Botanic Gardens. Lovely in the summer. Be careful! Don't go at night! No lights and people have gone missing in there before.
