  I love this Parish n the ppl were very friendly.. Felt right @home.. I'm so glad I found a church near me.. It feels soo right..

  Wonderful community of believers. Great music. 2 choirs. Sermons: very good. Deacon is as good as they come. Wide seating, not straight back, so even back row isn't far away.

  I used to go to school here,and I recommend this school to everyone in search of a good catholic school in the area.

  The first thing I noticed in this parish is how lovely the singing was. They don’t go out of the Gather Hymnal which is the least favorite of mine among the religious songbooks. They also had a lot of music... more than I am used to in mass. I think some of the responses were converted into song but the good news is that the cantor was very talented and she even had a young lady who must have been a middle schooler singing harmonies beautifully with her.
  The priest is Irish by his accent. This usually means a little more conservative of an operation that’s traditional in its approach and I saw that here. He seems approachable and his homily was good. His message in his homily I liked too. That said, I would love to see just a little more passion in the delivery. That said, it’s 9am on a Sunday and I’m not that passionate myself. Lol.
  The facilities are clean and welcoming. The mural on the back wall is just beautiful and it blends with the 50s (in a cool and good artistic manner) decor. The kneelers were hard on the knees, I will say. Regardless, the church was about half full (good these days), the crowd singing was better than usual, average age is 45 and the vast majority (98%?) of the population was Caucasian. That’s reflective of the Park Ridge neighborhood.
  Overall it was a good experience. I like trying different churches and this is on my list! I’ll be back!
