  A hidden gem located in Jackson park Behind the Museum of Science and Industry. A small Japanese Garden that's really beautiful and really well-kept.
  
  It's really peaceful and normally not crowded. Bring a picnic lunch and be sure to clean up after yourselves.
  
  Parking used to be free, but now you have to pay so be prepared.

  This is THE BEST location in Chicago for all nature lovers. This park is a bit far from downtown (around 13km) but is very well worth it.
  I was biking through lakeview trail with a Divvy bike and passed by this park. Only inconvenience is that you cannot take the bike in the park and there are no Divvy stations outside of it. However, there is a bike station for normal bikes to park but you need to have a lock.
  The location is very calm and relaxing. The park’s blend with the lake is superb. It’s design is far better than all parks in Chicago. It is a Japanese park. Once you step in all your worries are gone. I highly recommend this park. However one note: there are no sitting areas which makes it a bit annoying.

  Lovely small garden. This is a tiny version of Japanese Garden at Chicago Botanic Garden. Well maintained, clean and safe to visit. I enjoyed the sunset time when sun rays hit the trees at shallow angle and water body provides nice reflection of the scene.

  I love this place even as a little girl. This is one of Chicago's best kept secrets. This is a awesome place for a date or just to have some alone time. The garden is just so refreshing.

  Very beautiful place reminds me Japan. Small but well maintained. It's free to look around. Has a parking space on south with cheap price.
