  Thanks to Yelp, I found this post office while in route to my destination. As an avid eBay seller & shipper I tend to visit many post offices around Chicago & Chicagoland while headed to-and-from either school or work. My visit was at the spare of the moment, so I had no idea what to expect. With most post offices being crowded after hours I kept thinking that I would run into that situation, but then again it just happened to be a Friday afternoon, so I gave it a shot. I thought to myself many customers are so eager to start their weekend that they may have chose to not visit.
  
  As for this visit it was odd and brief because I can tell that both clerks minds were not at work. To describe the vibes, it felt like I interrupted something that had the clerks attention and the clerk wanted to get me out as quickly as possible to resume. The clerk was so quick to get me out that she forgot to give me my twenty-five cents from the sale. I did not stress it because it was only twenty-five cents. She is probably use to everyone using credit & debit cards instead of flat-out cash. However, my only hope is that they do not screw the shipping of my package up, which has not happened in a while. That encounter alone had me slightly worried about my package making it to its destination.
  
  Leaving here was chaotic because of the traffic on Lawrence Ave headed towards Western Ave, which resulted in me altering my route to leave. Take note of when you choose to visit because you will experience not only that, but long lines in this USPS during select times & days.
  
  Now that I have found and visited this post office I'm quite sure that I will visit again on rare occasions.

  I used to dread coming here. Was scolded by a clerk for using a USPS mail bin to carry in my 25 priority mail packages. And another clerk that would not look me in the eye. But this post office location has made HUGE strides to improving service. Problem clerks are no longer there. Current staff goes out of their way to be friendly. I recognize it.
