  Hey this school is vary good the teachers are nice they don’t hit kids they are organized the students will get there work done we will get rewards and we know what to do and when to do it and are school is clean and if we make a mess we will clean it up we will have fights here and there but not often and we will paint and we will clean all the stuff off and just have fun we work hard and are teacher push us to be as best as we can be and we can be the best school and we is one of the best school and we will go on trips and we have the best time are teacher sometimes will pay for you if you didn’t know that you was suppose to bring money for something and we are reached so many goals for this school we have fundraisers so we can get more things for the school we have over 200 kid at this school YOU SHOULD SEND YOUR KID HERE THIS IS A VARY GOOD SCHOOL

  I fought hard to get into KNA the the 2nd year it opened because the waiting list was very long. We stayed with the school until my daughter tested into one of the Selective Enrollment Academic Centers in 8th grade. Her NWEA scores were phenomenal and it was time to spread her wings.
  One of the reasons she tested off the charts was BECAUSE of KNA's nurturing. Let's be clear it does take a Village; however, PARENTS must step up to the plate. A school cannot create an exceptional student. They are there to support and reinforce what our kids learn at home. It is unfair to tear down a new school that is trying to make a difference.
  This school had to leave the original location and purchased a new building (without CPS financial support). The 1st year in Roseland Christian Academy they had to redo everything to make it "code". OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKET.
  They are committed to the community and the vision. Yes it's a struggle... all new endeavors are! Yet at the end of the day our babies get their hugs and discipline. They are supported and given structure IF some parents would stop "going off" when they don't get their way. We as a community must look at the larger picture... WHO WILL BE A SOLDIER FOR OUR CHILDREN?
  My daughter is solid in her history and her Blackness; therefore, this new culturally mixed environment does not intimidate her. She embrace others while accepting that she has value and has earned her space in this "gifted" Academic Center. KNA will support the parents but the parents must first commit to taking advantage of ANY RESOURCE that is offered. KNA had resources and our family added to their contribution and created a Scholar.!

  Ok, the reason I left the school is because one of the teachers allowed fighting, and when another member of staff was walking passed the classroom. And when they had gone into their classroom, my teacher´s exact words were:¨ You may continue.¨
