Calumet Fisheries

Very rich, fatty, filling, and delicious fish. One piece can definitely fill up two people. With that in mind, and if you are limited to one option I would just get some pepper and garlic salmon.

I don't go here as often as I like but when I do I never spend under $50.00 dollars. I absolutely love the smoked shrimp! Excellent for eating with their hot sauce and crackers or for cooking shrimp and qrits at home!

Thank God there is a place that has fresh fish. These guys are amazing and the daily catch is always different. I don’t get green from the smells in here and I love that. The whole ocean is in this place. Yum!

We hit up Calumet Fisheries for a snack on the way biking down to 3 Floyd's Brewpub. Great stop along the way and the food was delicious. There are some picnic tables to sit and areas to lock your bike while you order but make sure to bring cash with as the place is CASH ONLY. They sell water bottles and soda if you need a beverage or need to reload your camelbak / water bottles for the rest of the bike ride. We saw a bunch of other bikers here on a Saturday afternoon stopping through along the ride to the brewery. Great local spot!

Delicious!! We stopped by for lunch and it was truly amazing. We got a wide variety of smoked fish ranging from whitefish to salmon, and some shrimp too. It was all so good I can't decide which one was my favorite. I heard there used to be a picnic table outside where people could sit an eat, but that table is gone as of this review. There is nowhere to sit and eat inside (perhaps the only downside). Eating outside on the curb or on the bridge, as we did, is not a bad option when the weather is good.
