“This was formally known as 'Water Tower Park' but was rededicated in 2014 to remember Chicago's first and only female Mayor; Jane Byrne and so it's now called the 'Jane Byrne Plaza'. This took some time to even convince Google of the name change, after multiple correction attempts along with supporting evidence only to come back as denied it was finally changed to the correct name. Fun Fact: with how historic this building and plaza is to Chicago's history, it is not owned by the city of Chicago but rather 'private investors.'* Yet ironically named after a Chicago city mayor...Welcome to Chicago folks. **Source: Chicago Parks Dept”

“Nice coffee/snack shop in the Ritz-Carlton lobby. Prices are especially reasonable for the location and everything tried was of high quality. The outdoor deck is nicely decorated and a good place to relax when the weather permits — the view is good but is more of the inside of the Chicago skyline than of the water.”

“If you want to have a different breakfast experience, Wildberry Pancakes is the place. When you want to take a break from the normal routine and try something prepared with a little spice or sweet, then this is the place. Great serving portions of the entrees.Great place for couples, families or small groups. Service and greeting services are great. Moderately priced. Great location in downtown Chicago near the Water Tower.”

“I stayed at the hotel for an event, and was not disappointed in the quality of everything. First and foremost, it's absolutely beautiful, and every lobby, restaurant, and ballroom in the place is stunning. Beyond that, the food I had at said event was very good. The potatoes were just cooked enough, the tomato soup was especially good with the bread, and the desert/appetizers were filling and delicious. I would definitely come back!”
