  Some of the best BBQ in the city without the hype of the other places. All wood. No gas. No electric. So good. They offer a Carolina Gold sauce but my suggestion is to skip it. It is too strong of a a flavor to douse such expertly prepared meats. Their smoked jalapeño sauce is awesome and the complimentary house made pickles are a delight. Just enough kitsch with the bandana cloth napkins and the Mason jar glasses make this a fun place to have amazing BBQ.

  Best brisket sandwich and Cornbread. I've tried most of their sides and have found them all to be delicious. Parking is fairly easy on the street and it's in a safe part of Chicago. the food is excellent and it's also an excellent value. I believe this place only takes cash so be ready with cash on hand.

  I visit this place 2 to 3 times a week when i'm working in the area.
  
  I love the customer service and the food is Amazing! The smoked potato chips are too die for and the homemade pickles are delicious.
  I went in one week and tried every smoked chicken flavor they had. Still can't choose which one I enjoy the most. Also the comeback sauce is great with the wings.
  You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, another hidden gem in Rogers Park!
