Love love love going to Mauvo. NEVER had a less than great experience with her. She is extremely gifted in her craft. She respects your time and does not double and triple book her appointments! My only complaint is that I always leave her chair looking so regal that I can't be ratchet until I take my style down! Lol but seriously I've had locs for about 14 years and Mauvo is the BEST!!
I love that she actually cares about the health of your hair and does not use products that leave residue which over time WILL damage your locs. She also has a strong but gentle touch. I was born EXTREMELY tender headed and it has followed me into adulthood. Never have I left in pain or usable to sleep because my hair had been pulled too tight.
So happy to have her in Chicago.
