“Had a wonderful time with Ben aka Global Stroke. He was fun and kept us entertained. His community outreach to the children and adults is awesome. If you get a chance to plan a Paint n Sip... please don't pass this Jewel up!”

“Frame things here! We've met with one of the owners several times (Chris), and he and the staff are lovely. The artists they feature are great, and I have never gotten such fantastic pricing for framing. My husband and I collect concert posters, and they've done an amazing job with numerous pieces that we've brought in. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”

“beautiful exposed brick interior. Great place for large gatherings. Delicious food, not many vegetarian options available but I'm not sure if this was the catering that was ordered or from Morgan's on Fulton.”

“Excellent performance by Dee Alexander!!!!! The artist had many amazing work. He paints and draws during the performance too. I thought the place was pretty hidden and really didn't know what I was getting into, but it was so crowded and popular! We got there over an hour before the start of the performance and still couldn't get a seat. So go very early if you don't wanna stand for 2+ hours.”

“I love Rootwork Gallery and recommend you attend. Their exhibitions always seem to communicate such deep meaning and purpose. This, coupled with the fact that they bring in dynamic artists, it's a holistic experience everytime I'm in the space. The energy here is also very warm, positive and supportive. Much unlike the sterile cold feel of many galleries. I'd also recommend their programming which is often free and open to the public.”
