“Cafe Urbano is a true oasis in the neighborhood, i've been coming here since they opened. There aren't many other options around here, and the cafe really fills the niche for a meeting place and cultural hub, not just a coffee & sandwich place. Art shows, music shows, lit readings, and more. Try finding that anywhere else in Irving Park... The Metropolis coffee is great, always fresh. Abuelita is good if you want something sweeter. The sandwiches and pastries are tasty, my favorites are the twisted chicken and the pulled pork special when they have it. The low reviews here are baffling, the staff is always great and the food is fresh and made to order, so keep in mind it takes longer to prepare. Most times it's also a 1-person show, so if it's busy they may not always have time to chat. If you want fast food, get a muffin.”

They provide just enough texture and sweetness to provide an excellent celebratory meal after the Chicago Bears clinced the NFC North Division by defeating the Green Bay Packers 24 to 17 this past Sunday. The Root Beer was tremendous as was the customer service provided by the entire staff. The restaurant is very clean sanitary and organized. The parking lot is well lit clean and clearly marked. The restrooms are very sanitary clean and provide plenty of hot water and hand soap. The management team works well with crew to provide an uplifting dining experience.Attend!!!”

“I love Catfish! I have eaten at plenty fish joints in the city, Docks was my favorite for a while until I went there on a Saturday morning and had a 45min wait. And the fish was not that good. I wanted to open my own Fish spot but after seeing so many food places closed, I canceled that dream. I decided to give this place a try on 7/20/18 not sure how I would feel when I got home after eating my food. And, I must say to my surprise, the fish was awesome! Hot, fresh and cooked very well. “You'd never know this place exists. When you walk in you're not sure that it is really open. It is, so keep going. It minimally staffed. It definitely a place for locals. They are friendly to guest, you can tell they all know each other. The inside is a bit disappointing, but the big surprise is the food. Its actually great. I had a burger and it was yummy. The prices are easy on the wallet. If you are looking you casual dining and don't mind hearing a bunch of f bombs then this place is a great fit. If you are the language police than you'll want to steer clear!”
