“This is my personal favorite in Chicago. Maybe I'm biased because I live in the neighborhood but we order from this place 1-2 times a month. Tonight we decided to stop in and eat at the restaurant and the food tastes even better fresh off of grill!!! The people are friendly and the food is GREAT!!! I couldn't ask for more! Especially, as the name of the restaurant 'Korean Ginseng House' suggested, my first pick is whole broiled chicken ginseng bowl with rice and wonderful side dishes. “Been here twice on date night. Atmosphere is nice and low key. Although lighting could be a little less harsh. The Panang Curry is lovely and warm. The sushi is spot on. I'm impressed with their not-peanut sauce for their spring roll appetizer. The Yakisoba is very good. The Garlic Fried Rice has a really nice flavor balance. Service is good and food is ready quickly and accurately. Overall, a definite repeat for someone who doesn't eat out often and is pretty picky about where I spend my money.”
