“This place seems very authentic. my group of 4 got the 5 person group deal and it was worth it! You get tons and tons of banchan and then 3 or 4 appetizers, then comes the meats that you cook over your bucket of fire set in the table. They didn't hurry us at all despite us taking a while and the place getting busier. There was so much food and it just kept coming and coming. It was a delicious experience.”

“It may seem a littler strange to leave a review about a funeral home, but I just have to do it. In the most emotional and distraught time in my life, Drake & Sons on Western Ave., namely Esmeralda Ramirez really stepped up to the plate. Esme handled the situation with such care and empathy and really made us feel as though she was walking this tough path with us. She tried at every turn to save us money. When she realized that my Mom passed to days after my birthday I could really tell she was heartbroken for me. She really took care of us and although she couldn't be there the day of my moms funeral, she was sure to leave extremely detailed notes for the director that was going to be there so that no one missed a beat. When we had an issue with the cemetery during the planning process, Esme stepped in and handled that for us as well. Esme knew that there was a lot of information being given to us and she had no problem repeating herself SEVERAL times and continuing to be empathetic. When we didn't know which options to choose, she gave us recommendations and they were usually the cheapest options, or she would help us by asking us questions about my mom to assist in guiding us to an appropriate decision and letting us know that there is no wrong decision. All in all, she assisted in making the process less difficult and I could not be more thankful. My mother's home going was absolutely beautiful and exactly what she would have wanted.”

“I would like to acknowledge all the wonderful nurses that helped my mom. She was sent to this nursing home after having a stroke and could not walk. The therapy staff motivated her every day and had her walking within 2 weeks of being there. The administration was so nice, they always answered my calls and helped me and my mom with all of our concerns. They made us feel so comfortable. The place is clean and the people that work there really are caring. They went above and beyond to help us. if my mom or family member ever has a need for a nursing home, I will definitely recommend Continental nursing home. We had a great experience. “My partner and I walked in during a busy dinner hour and were still seated right away. Our server seemed busy and was slow getting us water / starting bread, but man the food made up for it! Some of the best pasta and fresh veggie starters I've had in the city –– true Italian style. Pasta here makes the famous "daisies" in Logan Square shake in its boots. I recommend.”
