“If there were 10 stars.... :-) Been going to Dr. Aleck since I was a teenager. for both Dr. Aleck and my sake, I'm not saying how long ago that was. He has a outstanding "bedside manner", always put me at ease from the moment I walk in. My daugther has high anxiety when going to doctors, but never with Dr. Aleck. The testament to how good he is, is that his staff that been with him for many years. I just love Chris who is his Hygienist. All of them work as an incredible team.”

“I took my boys canoeing here. The lake is nice, and it's surrounded by park space. There were quite a few people fishing, which is relaxing. I saw a huge fish jump out of the water in front of us when we were in the middle of the lake. It made me wish I had a fishing rod! I would return for a smaller, calm lake to canoe on; however, there was a fair bit of noise from the road and the train tracks. We had a nice time, nonetheless. It's nice to be able to get to a lake so close to home.”

“The hot cakes here are magnificent. They provide just enough texture and sweetness to provide an excellent celebratory meal after the Chicago Bears clinced the NFC North Division by defeating the Green Bay Packers 24 to 17 this past Sunday. The Root Beer was tremendous as was the customer service provided by the entire staff. The restaurant is very clean sanitary and organized. The parking lot is well lit clean and clearly marked. The restrooms are very sanitary clean and provide plenty of hot water and hand soap. The management team works well with crew to provide an uplifting dining experience.Attend!!!”

“I always like coming here for a carwash. They have a good team that gets the job done quick. The prices are good. I only gave 4 stars because I feel as the people hand drying the car might not get the tip that was added on the card charge. So when they tell you your car is ready they mumble something in Polish and I hope they dont think they are not getting tipped. But for now on I will make sure to tip them cash. I like the fact that they give you a free carwash any day after your purchase but not exceeding 4 days. Thank you guys and keep up the good work!”

“I have many a fond memory of playing in this very park as a child. (Rest assured, the playground equipment has been updated since the late 90's/ early 00's. It's probably much safer now.) The playground is spacious and has lots of stations for kids to explore. There is also a nice grassy field separating the baseball diamond from the playground, which is perfect for flying kites, launching Nerf rockets, or learning how to ride a bike without training wheels. One excellent feature of the park is that with the three gates shut, the park becomes an enclosed area perfect for letting dogs get a bit of off-leash exercise. The local dog owners are exceptionally good about picking up after their pets. Bonus: some days you can smell the bakery across the street making cinnamon bread. The one major drawback to the park is the lack of proper drainage in the grassy areas and baseball diamond. Water has nowhere to go and the whole place turns into one giant mud puddle after a day of rain or snowmelt. Save your visit for a dry day unless you want to lose your boots to the mire of silty mud out on the diamond (not to mention cleaning that muck out of your dog's fur). Also there are no bathrooms or rain shelters, but it's a small local park so neither of those are a big deal.”
